Refer & Earn: give $50, get $50

Share Day Interpreting with your network. When they spend $500 in their first 60 days, you both get $50 account credit.

The Refer & Earn program rewards you with $50 account credit for every customer you refer who spends $500 in their first 60 days. They get $50 too. No cap on how many friends you refer.

1

Find your referral code

From the sidebar

Open Refer & Earn from the sidebar. You'll see your unique 6-character code (for example A7KX2M) and a shareable link like app.dayinterpreting.com/r/A7KX2M.

Only account owners and admins can see the Refer & Earn page. Team members on your account won't have one of their own.

2

Share your link

Copy, QR, or Share

Use any of the buttons on the page:

  • Copy code — copies just the 6-character code.
  • Copy link — copies the full shareable URL.
  • Share — opens your device's native share sheet (text, email, social) on mobile; falls back to copying the link on desktop.
The share link routes to a public landing page that pre-fills your code into signup. Your friend doesn't need to type it anywhere.

How the reward is earned

One trigger, both rewards
  1. They sign up with your link. The invite is attached to their account at signup. No code field for them to miss.
  2. They spend $500 in their first 60 days. Any mix of paid credit top-ups counts. Bonus credit and legacy balance restorations don't count. Only money they actually pay us.
  3. After a 30-day review window, you both get $50. The holdback lets us confirm the qualifying payments cleared and weren't refunded. Credit then lands on both accounts automatically.
4

Tracking your pipeline

On the Refer & Earn page

Each referral on your dashboard shows one of these states:

  • In progress — they signed up and are working toward the $500 bar. The progress line shows the exact amount and the days left in their 60-day window.
  • Qualified — they cleared $500 inside the window. Your $50 is in the 30-day holdback and will land shortly.
  • Credited — $50 is on your account balance.
  • Expired — the 60-day window closed before they hit $500. No reward either side.
  • Revoked — qualifying payments were refunded or an eligibility rule applied. Reason is shown on the row.
Who's eligible
  • You can refer new customer accounts. People who already have a Day Interpreting account can't be referred.
  • You can't refer yourself. Signups using the same payment method or clearly tied to your account won't qualify.
  • Customers who bill a federal healthcare program (Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE) for interpreter sessions aren't eligible, per the federal Anti-Kickback Statute. See the referral terms for the full carveout.

FTC disclosure when you share

If you share your code publicly or with contacts, you should disclose that you receive a credit when someone signs up through your link. A line as simple as “I get a credit if you sign up with my link” is enough. This is required by the U.S. FTC Endorsement Guides whenever a material connection exists between an endorser and the business.

Common questions

Can I earn more than once? Yes. There's no cap on the number of people you refer, and you earn $50 for every one who qualifies.

When does the credit expire? It doesn't. Credits stay on your account balance until you use them for interpreter calls.

Can I transfer or cash out the credit? No. Credit is for interpreter calls on your Day Interpreting account only.
