Your Account ID & Passcode

What your Account ID and 4-digit Passcode are for, and how to set a custom one or generate a new random code.

Your Account ID and 4-digit Passcode are how you identify yourself when you dial in by phone. Together they connect your call to your account, balance, and rates.

1

Where to find them

Settings → Passcode

Both are shown on your dashboard under OPI Toll-Free IVR Line, and in Settings → Passcode. Your Account ID is fixed; your Passcode is a 4-digit code you can change anytime.

2

Set a custom passcode

Pick 4 digits
  1. Go to Settings → Passcode and click Set Custom Passcode.
  2. Enter a 4-digit code you’ll remember, then click Save.
3

Generate a random one

Quick reset

Prefer a random code? Click Regenerate Random and we’ll create a fresh 4-digit passcode instantly.

4

Using it on a call

By phone

To reach an interpreter by phone:

  1. Call our toll-free number, 1-888-989-1022.
  2. Enter your Account ID and Passcode when prompted.
  3. Choose your language and you’ll be connected in seconds.
Your passcode isn’t globally unique — it only works together with your Account ID. Keep both private, and regenerate the passcode if you ever think it’s been shared too widely.
  • Changing your passcode takes effect immediately for phone dial-in.
  • The full phone walkthrough is in Call an interpreter by phone.
